Germany will provide a grant worth 51 million euros (or around Rs 7.61 billion) to Nepal in the next two years, the Ministry of Finance said on Friday (September 6).
The decision comes after the completion of a three-day bilateral talk regarding development assistance, the ministry said through a post on social media platform X. The discussions, held in Berlin from September 4 to 6, focused on advancing Nepal's economic and social development over the next two years.
The grant, received in the form of financial and technical assistance, will be used for Nepal’s socio-economic development including the health and energy sector, according to the ministry.
