Mega Bank Nepal Limited simultaneously inaugurated 12 branches on April 18. Prof Dr Madan Kumar Dahal, the Chairman of the bank announced the formal inauguration displaying the video presentation of each inauguration. Each branch was inaugurated by different Founders/Directors of the bank.

The newly inaugurated branches are at Baneshwar, New Road, Jawalakhel and Kapan within Kathmandu valley and in Pokhara, Biratnagar, Birgunj, Butwal, Arghakhachi, Chautara, Hariwan and Syaphrubesi outside the valley.

Speaking at the inauguration, CEO Anil Shah said that next year the bank would come up with 15 new branches. He said that the branch network would be expanded to 50 in another four years. Bank’s Chairman Dahal said that the bank is also planning to enter into joint ventures to expand in the SAARC region. All 12 branches have ATM services and are equipped to provide full service banking connected to an on-line-real-time centralised network.
