Gorkha Brewery Sponsors ‘Sounds Of Seasons’

 

Gorkha Brewery Pvt Ltd (GBPL), part of Carlsberg, sponsored a musical event titled ‘Sounds of Seasons’ as its CSR initiative. The event was held at Nepal Art Council, Babar Mahal on 21st February. The event featured popular Nepali folk band Kutumba accompanied by many local artists from Janakpur, Helambu and Kathmandu. ‘Sounds of Seasons’ was an amalgamation of songs and stories embedded in Nepali folk music that carry great wisdom about our changing seasons. The musical event was a part of the exhibition ‘Climate + Change’ at Nepal Art Council organized by the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) which will continue through April. 

 

Gorkha Brewery Pvt Ltd (GBPL) has been working for the welfare of environment and community as part of its CSR. GBPL has also been supporting its Carlsberg Go Green initiatives at various events during Earth Hour day, and has supported Project Green Kathmandu in collaboration with Save the Environment Foundation.
