Tara Air Conducts Test Fight To Taplejung

 
Tara Air successfully conducted a test flight to Taplejung on 20th January by a German built Dornier Do-228 Aircraft. The flight took off from Kathmandu Airport at around 09:50 am and landed successfully at Taplejung Airport. Representatives of Civil Aviation Authority (CAAN) of Nepal led the panel of guests to board the flight. The duration of the Flight was 45 minutes. According to the airline, the report of the test flight will now be reported to CAAN and after receiving the green signal from them, the scheduled flights will commence. “We will be doing one flight a week to Taplejung to start with,” said Saral SJB Rana, Deputy Director of Sales and Marketing at Tara Air.
