Garima Development Bank Ltd has entered the seventh year of operation from last Friday. So far, the Bank has collected Rs 3.50 billion deposit and extended a total of Rs 2.75 billion loan. According to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Bank, Govinda Prashad Dhakal, it has been serving 70 thousand customers through its 14 branches. The Bank has started providing its micro loan service also to the male entrepreneurs. Earlier, this loan scheme was only provided to the women entrepreneurs. The Bank has distributed 20 per cent bonus shares and 5 per cent cash dividend to its shareholders as approved by the last Annual General Assembly of the Company. The Bank has the authorised capital of Rs 1 billion.
