Presidency College of Management Sciences (PCMS), affiliated with Purbanchal University (PU) and Higher Secondary Education of Nepal, is a business school located in Bharatpur, Chitwan. The college, operated by highly qualified and skilled human resources, offers coeducation facilities in management (ten plus two), BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) and MBA (Masters in Business Administration). The vision of PCMA is to complement applied business studies with practice and make students globally competent. It also has the vision to promote self confidence, self dependence, moral behaviour and a focus on student-teacher and parent relations.
“We have the latest university curriculum and teaching methodologies, coupled with Nepali values and ethics that distinguish us from others,” says Prakash Dhoj Adhikari, Chairman of the college. The college has also won the best college outside the valley award from New Business Age Pvt. Ltd. “Presidency College of Management and Science has been dedicated towards quality education for 15 years and we feel great today great to be appreciated,” Adhikari says.

The college provides students with opportunity to visit various industries to broaden classroom understanding. “We have built an extensive relationship with major corporate houses in the country,” says Adhikari.
The college also organizes various workshops on public speaking, business and professional writing skills, career planning, entrepreneurial skills development and training on financial and banking services.
Considering the academic history and capacity of the students, PCMS also provides scholarships to deserving students.
The college conducts research and consulting activities that help enrich the learning experience of students. Some of the projects that have been executed include a small business research on ‘Consumer Behaviour Analysis and Retail Outlet’, ‘Analysis of CUG and its products’, Event Management of HCL (Hindustan Computer Limited) Branded, and Event Management of
‘Yamaha Mini-Mela’.
The PCMS has organized seminars on account keeping, leadership development and training on stock market and banking system and procedure.
“We have excellent records of students engaged in different business activities in finance and banking industries, among others,” says Adhikari. The college has recently opened an effective placement service cell that works as a meeting platform for students and has developed an excellent relationship with the corporate community. The cell also frequently organizes different programmes in collaboration with reputed organizations.
