June 14: The Eighth Kantipur-HISSAN (Higher Institutions and Secondary Schools' Association Nepal) Education Fair-2023 is scheduled to take place from June 15 at Bhrikuti Mandap Exhibition Hall in Kathmandu.
With its inspiring motto "Excellent Education in Nepal," this four-day fair aims to inform and guide students who have recently completed their higher secondary exams and are eagerly awaiting their results.
The fair serves as a comprehensive platform, offering invaluable information about various educational institutions and a wide range of courses. As an increasing number of students are drawn towards pursuing higher education abroad, this event showcases the best colleges and educational opportunities available within the country.
Tanka Raj Acharya, the fair coordinator, emphasized the festival's significance in providing easy access to essential information about courses and colleges at home.
As many as 75 esteemed educational institutions from across the nation, affiliated with universities such as Kathmandu University, Pokhara University, Purbanchal University, Mid-West University, and the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training, are participating in the fair.
The fair organizers anticipate arrivals of over 200,000 visitors, including eager students, parents, and education enthusiasts.To make this event even more accessible, the fair management has decided to waive entry fees, ensuring that everyone can benefit from this unparalleled educational experience.
Moreover, scholarships, both full and partial, have been thoughtfully arranged for more than 1,000 deserving students, further emphasizing the fair's commitment to making quality education more accessible to all.
