Sindhu Bikas Bank has opened its 2nd branch in Melamchi Bazaar of Sindhupalchok. The head offi ce of the bank is in Barabise and has a branch in Banepa of Kavre as well. As there were no banks in Melamchi, the locals had to come to Banepa for banking services. Now it is convenient for the locals of Melamchi to access banking services in their locality.
