Nepal In Serious Condition Of State Failure: Fund For Peace

According to the recent survey by ‘Fund for Peace’ an American organization, Nepal is listed among countries that are in ‘Serious Condition’ in terms of indicators of state failure. The organization come up with this conclusion on the basis of the various evaluation of 12 criteria population density, refugees, human rights abuse etc. Nepal scored 91.8 out of full marks 120 needed as a ‘failed state’ and fell in 30th position in the list. It was in 27th position in 2012 ranking. Afghanistan is in most serious condition in South Asia according to the report published by the organization in the latest issue of Foreign Policy Magazine.
