The price of gold has dropped by Rs 7,500 per tola (11.66 grams). The price of gold, which reached a record high in the domestic market on Tuesday at Rs 197,900 per tola, has dropped to Rs 190,400 on Wednesday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
The federation fixes the prices of gold and silver in Nepal based on the price in the international market. Gold is being traded at US$ 3,345 per ounce in the international market on Wednesday.
Similarly, the price of silver has dropped by Rs 5 per tola to Rs 1,965.
