August 16: Air Arabia has announced regular flights to Prague in Czech Republic starting from December 11.
To celebrate the announcement, a cake-cutting ceremony was organized in Kathmandu on Wednesday, August 15, in the presence of Miss Nepal Shrinkhala Khatiwada.
Issuing a press statement, Air Arabia said that Prague is a popular tourist destination and a historic city famed for its Old Town Square and elaborately constructed Baroque buildings.
The ariline company, which provides low cost tickets, expressed its belief that the announcement will make visits the ancient city easy and hassle-free for tourists to observe the monuments, museums, along with numerous theatres, galleries, and other historical exhibits.
Air Arabia said its 7-hour flight to Prague will operate five times per week, every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from Sharjah International Airport to Prague Václav Havel Airport and back to UAE.
Air Arabia, currently operates flights to more than 150 routes across the globe from four hubs located in the Middle East and North Africa.
