December 28: Nepal Rastra Bank will auction treasury bills worth Rs 2.10 billion on Monday, December 28.
According to the central bank, such treasury bills will be sold through an online bidding process at 2 pm on December 28.
The central bank is issuing the treasury bills with maturity period of 91 days to arrange internal loan for the government.
Treasury bills worth 100 million rupees will mature on March 30 2021. Similarly, treasury bills worth Rs 2 billion rupees will be issued for a period of 364 days. The bills will mature on December 28, 2021.
Prior to this, the central bank had issued tender bids for treasury bills worth Rs 21.3 billion on December 24. Those bills were issued for a period of 91 days.
