Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has appointed Executive Director Kiran Pandit as its new spokesperson.

In a notice issued on Wednesday, the central stated that Pandit has been appointed to the post with immediate effect.

According to NRB, Pandit joined the banking service twenty years ago in 2062 BS and has experience working across various departments, including the Bank Supervision Department, Banks and Financial Institutions Regulation Department, and the Financial Inclusion and Consumer Protection Division.

He was serving in the Payment Systems Department before being appointed the spokesperson.
