CG Provides Scholarships to Students

November 9: CG Foods has provided scholarships to students of Lalitpur. The company, which has been providing Wai Wai Scholarships with the slogan ‘Educated Nepalis, Prosperous Nepalis’ has decided this time to provide the grants to 11 diligent students residing near its factory in Bhaisepati as well as to the children of the factory workers, reads a press statement issued by the company. The company has selected five local residents securing first positions in their grade five exams in 2016 for the scholarships while other four securing distinction in the SEE tests have also been selected for the scholarships. Likewise, one of the children of the factory worker securing first position in grade five exam and another with distinction in SEE have also benefitted from the scholarships. The company said that it had been providing scholarships to 10 students till the last year but decided to add one more recipient from this year.
