Air India Express, a subsidiary of Air India, is set to commence direct flights between Kathmandu and Bengaluru starting Sunday, June 1.
Tickets are now available on the airline’s official website, airindiaexpress.com, as well as other major booking platforms.
Inaugural fares begin at INR 8,000 for the Xpress Lite option and INR 8,500 for Xpress Value, according to The Economic Times , an Indian English daily. The daily flight will depart Bengaluru at 5:05 AM and return from Kathmandu at 9:05 AM.
The new route enhances connectivity to Kathmandu through a one-stop option from 20 Indian cities and two international destinations via Bengaluru, reported another Indian media outlet. Air India Express currently operates over 450 weekly flights from Bengaluru, connecting directly to 31 destinations.
