Prabindra Singh, Resident Director of Hotel Indreni Himalaya, is a very humble person. He considers life as a challenge because it has many ups and downs and he is ready to face all the hurdles in life. He is a very family person and spends most of his time with his family. Singh loves doing meditation and is involved in many spiritual activities organized by The Art of Living and Osho. He thinks that meditation is very important because it helps one to save time for one self and helps to refresh.
Singh frequently goes to movies with his family. He likes watching movies that have good moral message and teach good lessons about life. Singh loves listening to music and reading spiritual books. He dislikes staying idle and is always engaged in exploring things around.
Singh believes that when a person is involved in the service and hospitality sector, life becomes very tough. As one is mostly engaged with clients, it’s hard to allocate adequate time for family and spouse. However, he thinks that if things are scheduled they can be very easily managed. “I believe in smart work rather than planned work,” says Singh.
Singh thinks that holidays are very important stating that everybody needs a break from hectic routine. He likes going to different places. Last year, Singh visited South-East India and Thailand. His favourite holiday destination is Hua-Hin, Thailand. However, he wants to visit many places like Annapurna Base Camp, Lukla and Ghale Gaun .Among all the trips, Singh’s most memorable trip was his honeymoon trip to Pokhara.
Singh is very much interested in sports but due to hectic schedule, he hardly manages times for it. In his school days he was the skipper of his school’s football team and used to be a Table Tennis champion.
Singh is a very positive and a high-spirited person. He loves reading books that deal about problems of life and also teaches how to lead life with positives attitude. Summing up his attitude towards life, he borrows Osho’s quote “Forget the time when you suffered but not the lesson it taught to you”. Singh believes that problems are part of life and one must deal with them positively.
Singh loves interacting with new people and exploring different cultures. He is available on some social networking sites but is barely active due to his hectic schedule. He uses social media channels for professional purposes also.
