When it comes to mid-range smartphones, users generally hold view that these handsets offer fairly satisfactory performance in terms of computing speed, camera and display quality and other features. Nevertheless, products from the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi are exceptions to this notion. The Chinese handset maker which has been launching ‘flagship killers’ over the past few years has added another notable device in its product portfolio- the Redmi  Note 3. 

The third successor to the Xiaomi Redmi Note series comes with even more appealing design with the study builds design and quality. The hexa-core processor is fast and powerful offering users with high speed computing and highly efficient multitasking. Gaming is butter smooth with the Adreno 510 GPU. While playing the Asphalt 8, we noticed that the game plays smoothly with instant application launch and video playback. However, heat dissipation can be an issue on the long run. 

The new Xiaomi smartphone provides security and privacy at your fingertips. Fingerprint scanner located at the back of the handset comes with chip level security in which fingerprint database is preserved in the secret hardware made with Qualcomm Secure Execution Environment, the information of which cannot be obtained by even by the user. The fingerprint scanner can be used to lock or unlock the phone. 

Running on Android Lolipop 5.1.1 based MIUI 7.0 interface, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 houses outstanding battery capacity. It has the 4,050 mAh non-removable battery powered up with 5V 2A Quick Charge technology-that allows you to charge the phone from zero to 50 percent battery in just 30 minutes.
