LG Launches Lifestyle Shoppe 
CG Electronics Pvt Ltd, the authorised distributor for LG in Nepal, has launched a showroom in Kantipath, Kathmandu. The company says it is 'one-of-its-kind' and is built to meet the challenges of an increasingly mature retail environment in the country. The LG Lifestyle Shoppe was officially inaugurated amid a ceremony attended by LG Asia Regional MD Chris Yi, LG Singapore MD Scott Jung, LG Asia Regional CFO Myungho Kim, LG Singapore Export Director Allan Kim and the Managing Director of Chaudhary Group Nirvana Chaudhary. The new showroom is an exclusive outlet featuring a wide range of LG products. The company says the outlet aims to offer an 'experiential' journey into the complete digital lifestyle product range of LG and serve as a one-stop-shop for all the consumer electronics needs of a household. 

The showroom features home entertainment products, home appliances, and mobile handsets. 

Nirvana Chaudhary, Managing Director of Chaudhary Group said, “The LG Lifestyle Shoppe goes beyond the concept of a normal exclusive store, by having a more interactive environment and a more lifestyle orientation in the display, so that the customer can actually experience the best in class shopping experience.” According to the company, the showroom has been designed to allow customers to shop in comfort even during peak seasons.

LG is also launching a preventive maintenance service in the near future. Customers who purchase TVs, refrigerators, washing machines and air-conditioners from any LG Brand Shop will receive care for their products at their door step.

Vespa Debuts in Nepal
Vespa, one of the most famous scooter brands in the world manufactured by Piaggio Group, Italy, has been launched in Nepal by D- Lifestyles Pvt Ltd. 

“We are certain that Vespa will attract the youth with its unmistakable style and Italian charm,”said Stefano Pelle, Managing Director, Piaggio India. The Vespa range was unveiled amid a programme attended by Stefano Pelle and Aabhushan Jyoti Kansakar, MD, D-Lifestyles. Touted as the most elegant and youthful scooter, Vespa’s unique design expresses a dynamic and lively character. 

Vespa VX and Vespa S, which will be sold in Nepal, ride on a very efficient 125cc, three-valve engine delivering excellent performance. Both the models are loaded with features such as disc brake, tubeless tyres, single piece monocoque steel body and many more. The Vespa VX will be available in four colours (Lime Yellow, Dragon Red, Monte Bianco White and Midnight Blue). It is priced at Rs 2,49,946 and Vespa S, also available in four colours (Taormina Orange, Monte Bianco White, Dragon Red and Matt Black), is priced at Rs 2,63,946. It will be available at three showrooms in Kathmandu.

New JBL Speakers Launched
Evo Store, the authorised importer and reseller of JBL speakers and reseller of Apple products, has launched four new splash-proof speakers. CLIP+ (Rs 7,500), FLIP 3 (Rs 15,000), CHARGE 2+ (Rs 19,000) and XTREME (Rs 32,000) are the four Bluetooth speakers that will now be available at the store. According to the company, the new splash proof speakers are designed for poolside parties and outdoor events.

Dabur’s Real Wellnezz now in Nepal
Dabur Nepal, the country’s biggest juice manufacturer, has introduced ‘Real Wellnezz’ in the market. The Wellnezz products from Real encapsulate the essence of sound health, nutrition and fitness as they are made using 100% juice content and contain no added preservatives and sugar, reads the press release. Real Wellnezz is currently available in 1 litre tetra packs in jamun flavor, priced at Rs 225. “Real Wellnezz is a new product line that caters more to addressing the needs of the health conscious consumers,” says Abhaya Gorkhalee, Head of Marketing at Dabur Nepal. 

Gionee’s Exclusive Showroom in Newroad
Gionee has launched its exclusive showroom in Newroad. Miss Nepal Evana Manandhar inaugurated the showroom amid a programme on August 1. All 10 models of Gionee mobiles available in Nepal can now be bought from the showroom. 

Samsung Z1 Launched
Samsung has launched its first smartphone with the Tizen operating system, the ‘Samsung Z1’, in Nepal. The new mobile was launched amid a programme on August 1 in Kathmandu. Built on the light platform, this mobile has an ultra power saving mode and a long lasting battery due to which one can watch videos for seven hours and talk for eight hours, says the company. Priced at Rs 7490, the mobile comes in white, red and wine- red colours.  

UM Motorcycle Showroom Opens
IME Automotives, an automobile trading subsidiary of IME Group, has opened a showroom for UM Global Brand of two-wheelers at Nachghar, Jamal. Billed as 'a state-of-art' facility, the showroom features a full range of UM bikes comprising various models of Hypersport, DSR, Renegade and Xtreet series. 

Speaking at the launch, Chandra Prasad Dhakal, Chairman, IME group said, “With the official introduction of the UM motorcycle brand in Nepal IME Automotives expects to carve a niche in the two-wheeler industry by leveraging on UM's worldwide recognition as an American motorcycle brand with an aesthetically rich style and design.”

Mahindra Launches New Age XUV500 
Mahindra & Mahindra, India’s leading SUV manufacturer, has unveiled the New Age XUV500 in Nepal. It is packed with a host of cutting-edge technology features, bold new cheetah-inspired exterior styling, plush and premium new interiors, exhilarating performance and best-in-class safety.

The New Age XUV500 will be available in 6 variants, namely, W4, W6, W8, W8 AWD and the all new W10 and W10 AWD. The W4 variant will be available in 7 colours –Pearl White, Volcano Black, Moondust Silver, Dolphin Grey, Opulent Purple, Tuscan Red and an all New Sunset Orange. It comes with the powerful 103kW (140bhp) mHawk engine with a higher mileage of 16kmpl (ARAI-certified), reads the press statement.

The XUV500 was the most awarded car with 22 awards in its first year after launch, and 29 awards till date, from auto experts. 

Thai Fertilisers and Pesticides in Market
Green Clean Organic Nepal Trading and Contracting P Ltd has introduced different types of organic and bio fertilisers and pesticides in Nepal with the slogan “Organic agriculture, healthy life, clean environment our campaign.” The company is importing the products in collaboration with Jarupub Manufacturing Company  in Thailand. 

Gixxer SF: The New Street Sports Bike in Town
VG Automobiles Pvt. Ltd., the authorized importer and distributor of the Suzuki motorbikes for Nepal, has unveiled Gixxer SF, a new breed of 155CC premium fully faired street sports bike in Nepal.

Gixxer SF is Suzuki's flagship model for the Nepalese market, boasting a pioneering style & sophisticated sporty appearance, combined with exceptional riding performance and the best fuel economy in its class for the market, reads the press statement.

Embodied in a sharp and edgy look, Gixxer SF has been developed, says the company in the same wind-tunnel where the legendary Hayabusa, GXX-R and MotoGP machine are developed.  The fairing has been designed to give maximum wind protection to the rider reducing turbulence and drag, providing great Aerodynamic efficiency. The design of the bike provides a higher down force for stable braking and lower drag for better handling in high speed range, further reads the statement.

The bike’s additional attractions include telescopic front suspension and monoshock suspension, swing arm at the rear. The new Gixxer SF is available in three different colors: Metallic Triton Blue, Pearl Mirage White, Glass Sparkle Black. A limited special Moto GP edition of the bike is also available. The introductory price for Gixxer SF is Rs 2, 76,900.

Toyota Launches Etios Model 
United Traders Syndicate, the authorized distributor of Toyota vehicles for Nepal has launched Etios and Etios G and J Model in the Nepali market. These models have very good engine performance with decent acceleration and pickup, striking exteriors with updated radiator grilles, a very luxurious cabin space, reads the press statement.  This hatchback comes with a standard warranty of two years or 40000 kilometres. Nepalis can get this new car at a starting price of 2.78 million.

New Pulsar Bikes Launched
Hansraj Hulaschand Co. Pvt. Ltd has launched the much-anticipated race sport and adventure sport RS 200, AS 150 and AS 200 models of Bajaj Pulsar motorcycles amidst an enthralling gig- Nepathya Live In Concert held at DAV school ground. Shekhar Golchha, executive director of the company, unveiled the new range of Pulsars in front of more than 5000 concert goers. “This series exemplifies unparallel power and alpha male muscular styling to tame any distance or terrain,” according to a press statement.

"The Pulsar RS 200 completes a dream of super sports bike of every youth with its exceptional design, fit and finish," claims the company. Once straddling, the HD focus twin projector headlights. It has the high intensity crystal LED tail lamp.

Pulsar AS 200 comes with a discrete style of extended visor. AS 200 is based on the 200 NS, and uses a pressed steel perimeter frame. A telescopic front fork and a Nitrox mono suspension are seen on the bike. At 1,363 mm, the company claims AS 200 to offer the longest wheelbase in its class.
