May 15: Minister for Finance Barshaman Pun assured that the budget for fiscal year 2024/2025 would align with the policies and programmes announced in the parliament by the President.

Talking to the media after the announcement of the upcoming fiscal year's policies and programmes by the President, Finance Minister Pun argued that there will not be incompatibility in the government's policies and programmes, and budget.  

"There used to be complaints about the incompatibility between the budget, and policies and programmes but it will not happen this time," Finance Minister assured.

Pun added that the government's policies and programmes are good and the budget will be brought to implement and supplement them for the development of the country.
