Malaysian Company to Conduct Feasibility Study for Establishing Fertilizer Factory in Nepal

September 27: The Investment Board, Nepal has signed an agreement with a Malaysian company to conduct a feasibility study for the establishment of a chemical fertilizer factory in Nepal.    
IBN Chief Executive Officer Sushil Bhatta and Re-Nicola's Managing Director Bomhidi Abdelali signed the contract on behalf of their respective organisations amidst a programme on Wednesday. Re-Nicola is a Malaysian company.    
Issuing a press statement, IBN shared that the board has reached an agreement with the Malaysian company to establish a chemical fertilizer factory to produce green ammonia and calcium ammonium nitrate. As per agreement, Re-Nicola will have to submit a detailed feasibility study report within 24 months of agreement.    
The chemical fertilizer factory would be established at Abukhaireni of Tanahu district. -- RSS
