Government Announces Public Holiday on Thursday   

September 13: The government has declared public holiday on Thursday to mourn the demise of Constituent Assembly Chairperson Subash Chandra Nembang.     
The Ministry of Home Affairs issued a notice on Tuesday, informing that coming Thursday would be a public holiday.    
CPN UML Vice-Chairperson Nembang who was elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Ilam constituency-2 passed away due to cardiac arrest on Tuesday morning. He was 70.    
The government decided to give a public holiday to all public offices and Nepal’s diplomatic missions abroad and said that the national flag of Nepal would be flown at half-mast in all the relevant agencies of the government of Nepal. -- RSS
