Over 8,000 Tourists Visit Manang in Four Months   

May 10: A large number of tourists turned up to the Himalayan district of Manang as of May 7 this year. A total of 8,220 tourists had visited the district from January to May 7 in 2023.    
According to Chief of Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) Lekhnath Gautam, 5,056 men and 3,163 women visited Manang in the first four months of 2023. Tourists from 42 countries had entered the district.    
In the month of January, as many as 318 people from 42 countries had visited Manang. The inflow of tourists has increased in Nepal after the post-COVID situation gradually turned normal.    
Mostly, the tourists entering the country prefer trekking along the Annapurna Circuit. ACAP Chief Gautam said mostly foreign tourists visited the area for trekking. -- RSS
