Sunrise Bank Provides Rs 6.9 million Scholarships to Police School  


April 10: Sunrise Bank Limited has provided more than Rs 6.9 million in scholarship amount for hardworking and intelligent students studying at Nepal Police School under its corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Sunrise Bank said that it had imparted the scholarship amount to eight schools operated by Nepal Police to encourage diligent and intelligent children of on-service, retired, martyred and police personnel with disabilities to excel in their studies. 

“We have funded the scholarship to 15 students to study from Grade 4 to Grade 12,” said the bank.

In an agreement signing ceremony at Nepal Police Headquarters Naxal, IGP Basant and Bank’s CEO Suman Sharma accompanied by high ranking officials from Nepal Police and Sunrise Bank were present.

Chief Executive Officer Suman Sharma said that scholarship will motivate children of police personnel to to study hard and excel.
