March 24: The government has published the final report of the national census 2021.

According to the National Census of Nepal 2021 conducted by the Central Statistics Department, the population of Nepal has reached 29.16 million (2,91,64,578). As per the previous census, the total population of the country stood at 26,494,504.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal announced the final results of Nepal's latest census at the 'National Census 2078 Results Publiation Program' held in Kathmandu on Friday.

The census revealed that the male population of Nepal is 1,42,53,551 (48.98 percent) and the female population is 1,49,11,027 (51.02 percent).
