Shree Airlines Plane makes Emergency Landing after its Engine Catches Fire

March 9: A Shree Airlines plane flying from Kathmandu to Bhairahawa made an emergency landing after one of its engines caught fire on Thursday.

According to airport sources, the aircraft returned to Kathmandu and landed safely after its engine caught fire.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Anil Manandhar said that the aircraft returned from Dhading’s Thakre after the engine of flight 821 of Shree Airlines caught fire.

SP Manandhar confirmed that the plane landed safely at Tribhuvan International Airport and all the crew members and passengers on board are safe. Arrangements were made to send the passengers to Bhairahawa on another flight.
