Hult Prize, Toastmasters KCM organize the Art of Speech and Body Language

February 24: Hult Prize KCM, in collaboration with the Toastmasters KCM, hosted an event on the 'art of speech and body language' in Gwarko, Lalitpur earlier in February.

Issuing a statement, the organizers said that the event aimed to teach the participants about the significance of our body language while delivering a powerful pitch.

“The words you use, how you use them, and the tone and intonation of your voice all fall under the category of speech,” added the statement.

According to the organizers, it is crucial to talk clearly, confidently, and with the appropriate style and intonation when giving an address or participating in a conversation to “properly communicate your message”.

The participants were made aware that the body language entails using nonverbal indicators like posture, gestures, and facial expressions to support and reinforce your message.

According to the statement issued by the organisers, the participants expressed gratitude and appreciation for such a fun and worthwhile event.

“The main credit goes to Toastmasters, who collaborated to share their side of the stories to inspire the participants to further get into that and polish themselves.”
