Government Ready to Revise Foreign Employment Act, says Prime Minister Dahal


January 20: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ said the government is ready to revise the Foreign Employment Act to make the foreign employment business fair and transparent. 

Addressing the 29th Annual General Assembly(AGM) of Nepal Association of Foreign Employment Agencies (NAFEA) organised in Kathmandu on Friday, Prime Minister Dahal reiterated that he was ready to make business of foreign employment transparent and respectful after consultation with the Labour Minister and ministry’s Secretary.

Dahal sought assistance of entrepreneurs involved in the business of foreign employment to end malpractices prevalent in the domain of foreign employment. 

“The government is making headway in making the foreign employment transparent and effective and in stopping the wrong practices widespread in the field”, Dahal added.

Dahal stated that the government was prepared to forge friendly and cordial relationship with entrepreneurs and industrialists to usher in economic development and prosperity in the country.
