NRB Seeks Suggestions for Monetary Policy   

July 11: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has sought suggestions from all quarters for the new monetary policy. The NRB said it is seeking suggestions from the stakeholders for the monetary policy for the Fiscal Year 2022/23 as per the NRB Act, 2058.    
Clause 44 of Section-5 under the NRB Act has given full authority to the NRB to formulate and implement the monetary policy. For this, the economic investigation department at NRB has said anyone can furnish suggestions through email at [email protected].    
The NRB had made public the monetary policy for the current fiscal year on July 13, 2021. Generally, the monetary policy is made public a month after the budget announcement. -- RSS
