Private Sector Welcomes Budget

May 30: The private sector has welcomed with the budget announced by the government on Sunday. The businesspersons and entrepreneurs have urged the government to effectively implement the budget which they claim is 'encouraging'.    
President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI) Sekhar Golchha said various issues were incorporated in the budget and it was encouraging. He observed that subsidy in export, focus on production and due address on agriculture sector are positive sides of the budget.    
Similarly, Chairperson of Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) Rajendra Malla also hailed the budget and stressed that the government must implement it effectively.    
Chairperson of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) Bishnu Kumar Agrawal said promotion of manufacturing industries, review of land ceiling for industries, grant in export and discount on electricity tariff to export industries were encouraging.
