Buddha Air Resumes Flight Service to Varanasi

May 24: Buddha Air has resumed Kathmandu-Varanasi flight service that was disrupted since the last two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. According to the airline company, direct flights to Varanasi from Kathmandu resumed from Monday.

Buddha Air informed that the company will conduct two flights a week to India’s Varanasi. The flights will be conducted on Mondays days and Fridays.

As per the flight schedule, an ATR aircraft of Buddha Air left for Varanasi from Kathmandu on May 23 at 7: 15 am carrying 44 passengers and 6 crew members. According to the company, the return flight left Varanasi at 8: 45 am the same day. The return flight carried a total of 39 passengers.

Issuing a statement on Monday, Buddha Air said that the flight service to Varanasi will also facilitate foreign tourists. The company further said that Buddha Air’s subsidiary Buddha Holiday has been conducting tours to religious and tourism destinations across the country by announcing attractive packages.
