Special Training II for Startups Concludes

November 16: The second session of Special Training for Startups organised by New Business Age Pvt Ltd concluded in Kathmandu on Monday (November 15). The program organised in association with Garima Bikash Bank Limited was held as a part of “Kumari Bank NewBiz Startup Summit and Awards” which will be held on November 25.

Ranjit Acharya, chairman of the Startup and Innovation Committee under the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), gave the training on topics like branding, promotion and media management to the startups and entrepreneurs.

“We need to aim big and make preparations to achieve the goal. Taking a step back does not mean failure, rather it is a preparation for another step,” said Acharya.

Vision, passion, trust, honesty, integrity, and communication are vital for success, according to Accharya. Along with this commitment, patience is equally important. Another thing that is important is to break the mind wall and have self-confidence, Acharya further stated.

Chairperson of New Business Age Pvt. Ltd Madan Lamsal said that the main purpose of organising this programme is to encourage the entrepreneurs with new ideas and help them grow.

“We feel that having an idea is not enough in business. Along with idea other skills are also required,” he said, adding, “We have found many successful entrepreneurs lacking certain skills. So we have organised this programme so that we can help them develop themselves and grow.”
