NOC Hikes Prices of Petroleum Products

October 30: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the prices of petroleum products and cooking gas effective from Friday midnight (October 30).

The state-owned oil monopoly has increased the prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene each by Rs 3 per liter. With the price hike, the price of petrol has gone up to Rs 133 per liter while diesel and kerosene will now cost Rs 116 per liter.

The price of cooking gas has been increased by Rs 50 per cylinder to Rs 1,500.

Similarly, the price of aviation turbine fuel has also been increased by Rs 10 per liter both for domestic and international flights. According to the new price list, aviation fuel for domestic flights will now cost US$ 96 per kiloletre while the price of international aviation fuel has been fixed at US$ 885 per kiloliter.

According to the NOC, the prices have been revised as per the new list received from the Indian Oil Corporation.

The last time NOC had increased the prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene was on August 23. Despite the announcement, NOC is yet to update the price list on its website. Below is the list of price hike taken from the website of NOC:
