NAC Starts Test Flights to Doti, Bajhang

October 25: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has launched its services to the hill districts of Far Western Nepal.
The national flag-carrier has extended the services to the hill destinations of the Far West bearing in mind the inconvenience to the people caused by the current obstruction of roadways because of the recent rainfall.
The NAC has made Dhangadhi Airport in Kailali as its base for the service. Test flights have been launched for Bajhang and Doti districts from Sunday, October 24, informed Airport Chief Ram Krishna Bhatta.
The charge for the Dhangadhi-Doti flight has been fixed at Rs 2,615 per person and the return fare is Rs 5,515. Likewise, Rs 3,995 has been fixed as the air fare for the Dhangadhi-Bajhang flight and Rs 3,895 for the return ticket, according to Bhatta.
Locals have demanded regular operation of NAC flights for the convenience of the people living in these districts. -- RSS
