October 17: The operation of Manakamana Cable Car that was halted for two days (ninth and tenth day of the 15-day Dashain festival) has resumed from Saturday, October 17.    
Unlike in previous Dashain festival when the service would remain closed for three days in general, this year the service remained closed for only two days, said Ujjwal Sherchan, Deputy General Manager of Manakamana Darshan Pvt Ltd.    
The service that was halted for a long time due to COVID-19 had reopened from September 8. Since then, 55000 people availed the service as of October 13, said Sherchan. --RSS
