NMA forms Bagmati Province Committee

September 6: The Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) has distributed certificates to the newly formed working committee of Bagmati Province chapter of NMA.

The NMA formed a state branch coordination committee on September 5 amid a program organized at the meeting hall of the NMA Secretariat in Kathmandu. NMA officials welcomed the office bearers and members of the newly-formed committee.

The Bagmati Province Committee was formed under the chairmanship of Dal Bahadur Gurung. Gurung has been active in the field of tourism for the last two decades.

Milan Kumar Tamab is the vice-chairman of the Bagmati Province Committee, Fudoma Sherpa is the secretary, and Thakur Dharel is the treasurer. Similarly, Dawa Sibgi Helmo, Amar Gurung, Suppa Tamang, Kuldash Tamang, Sunita Gahatraj, Lopsang Sherpa, Dhruv Shrestha, Akash Gurung, Kami Sherpa, Urja Tamang, and Gyan Bahadur Tamang are members of the committee.

The Chairman of the association Santvir Lama presented certificates to the office bearers and members of the provincial committee. Likewise, General Secretary of the Association Kul Bahadur Gurung, Secretary and Coordinator of the State Branch Coordination Committee Tikaram Gurung, Central Members Wabco Sherpa, Tul Singh Gurung, Sanjiv Gurung, Sibgi Lama, and others welcomed the office bearers and members of the new working committee. The association’s Chairman Lama administered the oath of office and secrecy to the office bearers and members of the committee.
