     Probe Committee to Study High Fare of International Flights

June 22: The government has formed a probe committee to investigate extra fare charged by travel agencies to passengers of international flights.    
According to the state-owned national news agency RSS, the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has formed a-five member committee led by Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), Rajan Pokharel.    
Joint secretary at the Ministry Taranath Adhikari shared that the probe committee was formed to carry out the investigation as some travel agencies reportedly charged additional ticketing fare for international flights of late.
