August 4: The price of gold has reached Rs 99,800 per tola (11 grams approximately).
Although the price of gold remained stable on Monday, it increased by Rs 300 per 11 grams to reach an all-time high of Rs 99,800.
Federation of Nepalese Gold and Silver Dealers Association on Tuesday (August 4) confirmed the increase in price of gold. According to the federation, fine gold is being traded for Rs 99,800 in the Nepalese market.
Meanwhile, silver is being traded for Rs 1230 per 11 grams.
Gold dealers said that the price of the precious yellow metal is steadily rising due to the high demand for gold in the international market.
It is said that investors are interested in gold to secure their investment in the international market amid risks of coronavirus pandemic.
