April 17: Two wide-body A-330 aircraft of Nepal Airlines Corporation have landed in Kathmandu with essential medical supplies for the fight against COVID-19.
A source at the Tribhuvan International Airport said the two chartered aircraft landed at the airport on Friday morning. The quantity and type of medical supplies that have been brought from Guangzhou are yet to be known
The aircraft of the national flag-carrier NAC had flown to China’s Guangzhou on Thursday night to bring the medical kits and supplies. Two business groups had chartered the aircraft. Medical supplies were brought from Guangzhou on March 29 and April 2 as well. --RSS
