April 2: Surkhet Chamber of Commerce and Industries has distributed food supplies to deprived families of Ward no 4 and 6 of Birendranagar.   Laxman Kadel, general secretary of Surkhet Chamber of Commerce and Industries said that the food supply was distributed to the family members of local labors who were hard hit by the lockdown imposed by the government to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Food supplies worth Rs 80,000, and total of Rs 50,500 cash were distributed among the family members of the labourers.
