Mahindra Launches XUV300 in Gandaki Province

December 22: Agni Incorporated, the sole authorized distributor of Mahindra vehicles in Nepal, has launched its new compact SUV, the XUV300, in Gandaki Province.

The XUV 300 vehicle was jointly launched by Minister for Industry, Tourism and Environment for Gandaki Province Bikash Lamsal and Cabinet Shrestha, managing director of Agni Incorporated on December 20.

Speaking at the launch, Cabinet Shrestha said, “We are excited to launch the XUV300 in Gandaki Province, the latest offering in the next generation of aspirational Mahindra vehicles. I am confident that with its new-age look and hi-tech features, the XUV300 will be an instant hit with our consumers of the native place.”

Santaraj Batas, executive director of Batas Brothers Pvt Ltd - Pokhara-based dealer of Agni Incorporated – said he is optimistic about a very good market of XUV 300 in Gandaki Province.

According to the company, XUV 300 comes with features like Dual-Zone Fully Automatic Temperature Control, 17.78 cm (7”) Touchscreen Infotainment system with GPS navigation, Apple Car Play and Android Auto, ECOSENSE Technology with social media connectivity, Micro Hybrid system, Rear Parking Camera with dynamic assist and three-park assist modes, Steering-Mounted Phone and Audio Controls, Blue Sense APP with smart watch connectivity, Cruise control, Auto-dimming IRVM, Multi-colour configurable instrument cluster and Tyre Position Display.


The XUV300 is available in three variants - W4, W6 and W8, and one optional pack of the W8 variant.

XUV300 is priced at Rs 3.97 million for the petrol W4 variant, while the W6 and W8 variants are priced at Rs 4.12 million and Rs 5.65 million respectively. Likewise, the W6, W8 and W8 (O) diesel variants are priced at Rs  4.5 million Rs 5.15 million and Rs 5.72 million respectively.

The features like seven airbags, all four disc brakes, front parking sensors, ABS and EBD standard system, 17 inch alloy wheels make the driving safe, the company said.
