Nepal Tourism Board launches ‘photonepal.travel’

September 11: Nepal Tourism Board has launched a new website named ‘photonepal.travel’ with the objective to promote tourism in Nepal through the display of photography.

Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Yogesh Bhattarai inaugurated the website on Tuesday.

The minister said that the website could be a helpful platform in promoting Nepal’s diversity around the world.

He also said that the website is a brilliant platform for photographers to display their photos.

“One can use the search feature available on the website to search for their desired pictures and to share their photos,” informed senior official of NTB, Sudan Subedi.

According to the board, the website is visited by approximately 5000 people per day and around 50 people sign up for it daily.

The board also revealed that the website displays one thousand photos currently.
