Jeep Camp organized to test the capabilities of the brand

August 30: American automobile brand Jeep has formally started a four-day Jeep Camp in Kathmandu to demonstrate the potential and capabilities of its machines.

MAW Life, the authorized importer of Jeep SUVs in Nepal, called media and a few SUV enthusiasts to test its freshly launched models - Compass Trailhawk and Compass Limited Plus - on an artificial off-road track on the premises of National Trading Limited in Baggikhana, Kathmandu.

According to the company’s press statement, Vishnu Agarwal, MD of MAW Enterprises flagged off the event by driving on the trail himself.

Jeep Compass Trailhawk was launched in the NADA Auto Show 2019. 

The company claimed that the Jeep Compass Trailhawk is powered by a compliant, 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine that makes 173 PS and 350 Nm of peak torque. It added that the new All-Wheel Drive (AWD) SUV is priced at Rs 12.4 million in Nepal.

The press statement added that the price of Jeep Compass Limited Plus ranges from 9.79 million to 10.59 million.
