August 29: United Traders Syndicate Pvt Ltd, the authorized distributor of Toyota Motors in Nepal, has unveiled the two latest hybrid models – Rav4 Hybrid, and Camry Hybrid along with a gasoline model of Rav4 at the NADA Auto Show on Tuesday.
Issuing a press statement, the company said, “The all-new Rav4 Hybrid features exciting mileage of 24km/liter for normal driving with eight air bags installed. The hybrid model is equipped with three different driving modes – ECO Mode, Sport Mode and EV Mode with a battery that rules out the plugged-in exigency.”
The company further said that with an astute Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) with Traction Control System (TRC), Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and Emergency Signal System (ESS) and astounding Hill Start Assist Control (HAC), the new Rav4 Hybrid stands out in the class of SUVs for the driving mastery in the strenuous and inconvenient roadways and conditions.
The market price of the new Rav4 Hybrid is Rs 13.4 million.
Likewise, the company said that the Camry Hybrid provides a mileage of 23 km/liter for normal driving with nine air bags installed.
“This hybrid model also incorporates three different driving modes; ECO Mode, Sport Mode and EV Mode. With an incisive Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) with Traction Control System (TRC), Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and Emergency Signal System (ESS), this model however lacks the Hill Start Assist Control (HAC)”, the company said, adding, “Nevertheless, this Hybrid Sedan performs well in the rugged road conditions.”
The market price of the new Camry Hybrid is Rs 13.1 million.
The auto show, organised at Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Hall, Kathmandu, will conclude on September 1.
