Alcatel Debuts in Nepal

July 24: Alcatel, a smartphone brand of TCL Communications, has made its debut in Nepal with the launch of its latest range of smartphones and features phones. The company said in a statement that it has launched Alcatel 1, Alcatel 1S, Alcatel 3X, Alcatel 3 (3+32GB) and Alcatel 3 (4+64GB) in the smartphone segment and Alcatel 2053D, Alcatel 2003D, Alcatel 1066D in feature phone segment. In addition, the company said it will provide one-year warranty on the devices and six months warranty on accessories.

SHTC International P Ltd is the authorised distributor for the brand. 

Speaking at the launch, Amit Agrawal, managing director of SHTC said, “We are very optimistic about the new launches in the burgeoning domestic mobile market. We are certain that Alcatel smartphones, known for their superior user experience, contemporary designs will be well accepted with the customers because of their great quality and excellent services.”

Furthermore, he added that all the smartphones are packed with features such as a powerful battery and high- pixel cameras.
