May 22: Laxmi Bank has extended its network with the opening of one branch each in Bardiya and Dang districts. With the inauguration of the two new branches, Laxmi Bank now has a total of 105 branches spread across the country.
Laxmi Bank in a press statement that it opened a new branch each in Gulariya of Bardiya district and Tulsipur of Dang district . The total number of branches of Laxmi Bank in Province 5 now stands at 12. The new branches will offer full range of retail banking services customized to meet the needs of individuals and small businesses, according to the statement.
Laxmi Bank said it has been providing banking service with a network of 105 branches in 47 districts, two extension counters and four hospital service counters, 127 ATMs, 2,500 remittance agents and 58 branchless banking agents spread across the country.
The bank said it has adopted a strategy to expand its network to newer and underserved markets with the aim of meeting the growing demand for professional financial services such as innovative saving accounts, term deposits, home and auto loans, small business loans, microfinance, insurance etc.
