April 9: Silkware, a home-grown faucet brand of Nepal, has appointed superstar Keki Adhikari as its brand ambassador.
Rajan Jha, managing director of the company, and Keki Adhikari signed an agreement in this regard amid a recent function in Kathmandu. Issuing a statement, the company said that Adhikari has been appointed brand ambassador for three years.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Adhikari thanked the company for giving her an opportunity to promote the brand which she believes to make Nepal self-reliant on home-made products. She also praised the company’s investment in the productive sector of the country.
Silkware said its products are distributed in the market by Johnson International Pvt Ltd. The company has also announced replacement guarantee for 10 years on its products. The company will also provide after-sales service, according to Jha. He also said that the company’s products are of international standard.
Managing Director Jha claimed that Silkware is the only ISO certified Nepali company that produces bathroom accessories in the country.
