Janata Bank Provides Medicines to Old-Age Home

April 7: Pokhara branch of Janata Bank marked its 10th anniversary this weekend by providing medicines to Human Service Ashram at Chorepatan, Pokhara on Saturday, April 6. The bank said in a statement that the medicines were provided under its corporate social responsibility.

The bank provided medication worth Rs 25,000 to the ashram which shelters 72 senior citizens. The bank’s Regional Manager Madan Kumar Mulmi handed over the medicines to Homnath Timilsina, Kaski district coordinator of the ashram.

On the same occasion, the bank also provided food to the elderly people of the old-age home.

Besides, the bank also organised a morning procession on the same day. According to Mulmi, the procession started from the bank’s office in New Road and reached Chipledhunga.
