March 4: Norchhok Boutique Hotel was inaugurated on Saturday, March 2 by Guru Ranag Tulku Rinchin Rinpoche (Dolpo Buddha). The soft launch was held on the hotel premises in Lazimpat with the theme “Love for Dolpa”.

According to General Manager Radeep Khadka, the hotel is yet to open its service for the guests.

“We will start our service soon after the formal inauguration program which we have scheduled later this month,” he added.

The GM informed New Business Age that the hotel offers thirteen lavish rooms including six suites to the guests.

Suites and rooms at the boutique hotel reflect the cultural theme of Nepal. Dolpo suite, Rana suite and Newar suite are some of the suites available at the hotel that highlights the antique styles of Dopla, Newar community and the Rana families. 

Besides the antique rooms, the hotel owns a spacious garden and a medium-sized restaurant that will serve varieties of cuisines to the guests during their stay.   

The hotel’s GM informed New Business Age that Guru Ranag Tulku Rinchin Rinpoche (Dolpo Buddha) is the sole owner of the boutique hotel. He said that the hotel has been established with an investment of Rs 20 million.

Guru Ranag is also the founder of Snowland Ranag Light of Education School for underprivileged children from Dopla. He aims to contribute some part of the hotel earnings to the school. 

The hotel is currently under recruitment process and has employed fifteen individuals.

“We will recruit twenty five persons in total while interested and qualified students from the Guru’s school are our prime focus,” informed GM Khadka.
