New Business Age (P) Ltd. has been publishing New Business Age (monthly business magazine in English), Aarthik Abhiyan (national business daily in Nepali) and The Corporate (weekly business newspaper in English).

 

History

The first issue of New Business Age magazine was published in April 2001 and the company New Business Age (P) Ltd. was incorporated in 2003. In 2005, it started publishing Aarthik Abhiyan weekly (initially called Aajako Abhiyan). This is upgraded since September 2010 into a national daily. The Corporate weekly tabloid size business newspaper was started in January 2011.

 Because of all these, NBA boasts of having the longest institutional history and experience in business journalism in Nepal.

 

Affiliates

New Business Age (P) Ltd. has set up one fully owned subsidiary Minds Nepal (P) Ltd. which functions in the fields of consultancy, research and training.

 

Products

The company NBA at present has following products:

I. New Business Age: It is a monthly magazine in English focused in business and economic reporting. It is printed on glossy paper and has 80-100 pages per issue. It is the eldest business magazine of Nepal. Its website is newbusinessage.com.  


II.Aarthik Abhiyan: It is the only daily business newspaper of the country published all seven days of the week and it has 16 pages in broadsheet. Its Saturday issue is called Aarthik Abhiyan Arthantar as on that day it is focused on giving off-beat material related to economics and business. On all the other six days of the week, it has a daily supplement called "Product" of four pages. It selects one product, service or business for a day and tries to give 360 degree coverage on that product on that day. Aarthik Abhiyan is printed on normal newsprint.


III.The Corporate: It is a weekly newspaper in English in tabloid size targeted on the expatriate community (corporate, diplomatic or philanthropic) in Nepal. One speciality is news from Nepali language newspapers (dailies and weeklies) translated and presented for the English readers. It has eight pages and it is now being printed on glossy paper.
