Nepal Trade Summit Concludes

May 20: Nepal Trade Summit, which brought together entrepreneurs of steel, cement and energy industries in one platform, concluded in Kathmandu on Friday, May 18.

More than 300 representatives of seven south Asian countries including Nepal and India took part in the two-day event. According to the organisers, there were altogether 25 stalls at the event.

During the inauguration of the summit, Finance Minister Yuba Raj Khatiwada said that the country still lags behind in infrastructure development and urged the entrepreneurs to invest in this sector as there has been improvement in load-shedding and there is favourable environment for investment.
